Essay on Air pollution

Hello friends,
A very happy Environment Day to all of you and on the account of this event I have brought an essay on air pollution. As we all know that pollution is one of the major crisis in the world and this is a very vast topic to write on but I have tried to highlight and cover all the important pointers. So without any further ado let's begin the essay.

Introduction:

Before diving into the essay first let’s understand what is air pollution exactly. Air pollution is the presence or release of substances in the atmosphere that are harmful to humans, animals, plants and damaging to the climate or materials. Such type of substances is called pollutants.

Some common examples of pollutants are-Ozone(O3) is a pollutant and are formed as a result of a chemical reaction of organic compounds and nitrogen dioxide in the presence of sunlight. Carbon Monoxide (CO) is formed when the carbon fuels are burned in the presence of little oxygen or at a high temperature. Mostly the source of this is the exhaust from the vehicle engines and is evidently formed in cities where traffic jams are a common event.

Effects:

Air pollution has many adverse effects on humans, plants, animals and the materials around us. So, air pollution has effects like-Cardiovascular and Heart Problems, Asthma and COPD, Skin problems, to name a few.

Adverse effects on monuments are like-In buildings containing books, historical artefacts or other works of art indoor pollutants may cause significant degradation.

Effects on plants are-Global warming caused due to emission of CO2 and methane. Smog caused due to mixing of smoke and fog which cause blurred vision causing vehicular accidents.

Preventions:

We all can contribute to reducing air pollution by implementing small steps that will create a huge difference. We all can implement things like-

  • Why waste fuel when a group is travelling to the same destination, so we can carpool or use public transportation, or walk whenever possible.
  • Avoid burning leaves, trash and rather decompose them to make manure.
  • Avoid excessive idling of your automobile.
  • Afforestation. Plants absorb CO2 present in the atmosphere, releasing oxygen and naturally, act as pollution reducers.

Your room has been untidy for a long time and your parents have been urging you to tidy it. Narrate your experience and what did this experience teach you.

Tidying my room I haven’t always been an enthusiast in cleaning and tidying my surroundings. So, my room is very untidy for my parents and they have always been urging me to tidy it. I love my things scattered in the room and am least bothered to tidy them. But the day finally came when there was no place to walk on the floor, no place on the bed to sleep, no place on the table and I finally decided to tidy things up.         Firstly, I decided to clear the mess on the floor so that it would be easier for me to walk while cleaning the room. I exercise every day so the yoga mat was spread on one corner on which I had tripped many times. So I rolled it and kept it under the shelf. Those days I was engaged in a new hobby of painting and I felt that there is no better place to do painting than on the floor. So all the art stuff was scattered and I had to gather them up. I arranged the paint bottles in their case along with the brushes and kept them on the shelf with the sketchbook. T

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree, it will live it's live believing it is stupid

Hello friends, I am back with another informative essay on a beautiful thought I came across by Albert Einstein. This thought has a very clear message that is applicable to entire mankind and if brought into practice, believe me, you can do wonders! I am sure you might be eager to read the essay so let's begin with it. Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its life believing it is stupid.         This famous quote by Albert Einstein is completely true. There is no deep meaning here but a clear message that people cannot be good at everything and if you try to judge them by the things they are not good at, you would end up discouraging them and they might even live their whole life believing that they are of no good.          The thought here is presented through animals. As we all know that a fish is the most incredible swimmer but you cannot judge it by its ability to climb a tree nor by its ability to fly. Similarly, we can
